Did you know it is human to dream?

Our dreams are the stuff that our past, present, and future relate to.
Dreamers, on the other hand, live in the now of abandoned ambitions – huh? you say.

Well it’s all about having an idea and acting on it or not. The idea was formed from the “what if” part of your dreaming, the idea takes form with that four letter word “work”, or rather “action”.

So, dare to dream, but make sure you take action to make that dream become part of your reality.

What’s this got to do with making money online, you ask?

The answer lays in your developing an idea (making money online, say), and moving towards your idea (or goal) by taking constructive steps in researching the idea, and finally taking action in implementing the idea, or not as the case may be.

Ideas associated may include affiliate marketing, ebook authoring, direct marketing through ebay, to suggest a few avenues.

So, what is your dream? Do you feel motivated to do something about it – or are you just a dreamer?
Check the next posting for the mix of motivation and opportunity. Until then….

Next page will list a number of affiliate marketing organisations that you may find useful.

Ponzi schemes are often not what is referred to in the Internet Marketing game. Doesn't mean there are no dodgy strategies out there, waiting to claim your cash. Buyer beware is a good maxim. More on this.... Continue reading →

Comments keep surfacing in the newsletters and emails talking about online fraudsters and Ponzi schemes.

So, just what was a Ponzi scheme. According to WIKI “A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to separate investors from their own money or money paid by subsequent investors, rather than from any actual profit earned. The Ponzi scheme usually entices new investors by offering returns other investments cannot guarantee, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. The perpetuation of the returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises and pays requires an ever-increasing flow of money from investors to keep the scheme going.
The system is destined to collapse because the earnings, if any, are less than the payments to investors.”

We have the example of Charles Ponzi back in the early 1920′s with his postage stamp scheme, and of more recent times Bernard Madoff who ran the biggest financial investor ponzi scheme ever from the 1980′s to December 2008 with an estimated fraud value of $21 billion.
But, we have to point the finger at Charles Dickens as the originator of the scheme idea in his 1857 book “Little Dorrit” – not that the esteemed author had any intention of defrauding others outside of the pages of that book!

Well, that sets the background somewhat.

What are often referred to as Ponzi scams online are probably more simply described as schemes to confound, confuse, befuddle with aimless detail, to provide insufficient information for a clear process to be engaged, constantly offering upgrades to get the better result, and similar processes attached to an initial “sounds good” invitation to get involved. In other words a scam designed to extract as much money from the aspiring on-line marketer as possible before the scheme is cast aside and the hunt goes on for the next inviting proposal.
Oh, and let us not forget those offers of coaching using OPM (other people’s money – aka your credit card). The author is not saying there are no genuine offers out there, just that without due diligence you are going to be helping fill the coffers of the unscrupulous.

Which brings the author to his personal stand – if it’s so good, why not a Joint Venture! Always the answer – we don’t do JV’s – tells you a lot, huh!

If you have you will be able to testify that the offer just does not work.
Scammers are rife on the ‘net, tempting the desperate, confounding the aspiring, and generally leading the applicant deeper and deeper into the “web” with another tempting offer, or a development to make things work even better, etc. If you have been there I can see your heads nodding with agreement.
Where the bewildered generally give up is when their cash is exhausted or they have found the process is so complicated and convoluted, so lacking in clear instruction, and/or virtually impossible to contact.
One way operators are trying to instill confidence is offering guarantees – “Try this for 60 days and if you are not happy we will give you your money back”
Well, OK, that offers some reassurance. However you need to be able to communicate with the vendor, else those 60 days can zip past while you struggle to get sense of the product, – that is if you can get any part of it to work at all.
Perhaps there is some truth in the thought that we do not like being shown as having poor judgement in making the purchase, and so we struggle and persist when the real answer is to send it back from whence it came.

Next post will show just how those big sales numbers are often created (those that are genuine, of course) – and so we come to the “ponzi” side of Internet Marketing – schemes rotating within themselves.

Serious alarm bells are ringing in the USA. Employment figures are disappointingly poor, re-investment in industry is low, not a happy time, perhaps. And then again perhaps this is a good time to break out and get a fresh start – a world-wide business for “peanuts”.
Check it out here

Never the “best” time to start anything if your mindset says “can’t”, so grab that “can do” thought and find out how you can get a global business started for “peanuts”. Yes, it has a price of $7 but with a money-back guarantee. Most of us can spare the price of a cup of coffee to get our “toes in the water” but unlike that cup of coffee, if you don’t like it you get your cash back!
Believe me, this is simple, just add you.

Make your fortune marketing online!
Oh, you’ve heard that one before, huh!
Truth is – SOME are making a lot, online, MOST are NOT.
Now, are you a SOME or a MOST?

For the SOME’s, OK, well you have a fair bit of my gold, too.
For the MOST’s, don’t grab the “cheesiest” sounding offer, take advantage of the experience of others, like myself, who have been there, done that in the Internet Marketing game.

To begin, you need to decide what manner of business you want to be in.
Is it using eBay, stocking products and reselling, or developing your own product to market on the Web.
The simplest and lowest cost/lowest risk method is going the Affiliate way. A good product, well received, well supported, and well priced can really make your day!

Do you need a website? Well, actually, no unless you have your own product. Blogs give you instant access to the Internet, the Online Market, and that Online Income.
So, why not use blogs! You can get your own for nil cost at http://www.blogger.com, or (preferred) http://www.wordpress.com
Got a website/ISP hosting? – well grab your wordpress download here – http://www.wordpress.org and host your own blog. A word of caution – WP may need the help of your ISP people to guide you to a correct instal

How about the websites you are linked to with the affiliate links, the marketing programs you are trying to get income from, etc.
Why not simply link each to your blog?
